Homologation Euro5 - Euro4

Quality and safety on the road

SC-Project designs, develops and manufactures many approved exhaust systems for motorcycles suitable for road use, respecting the different regulations (Euro5, Euro4 or Euro3) depending on the model.

SC-Project is officially accredited and authorized by the Italian Ministry of Transport for the production of homologated exhaust systems. This homologation is valid throughout the European Union. We realize our exhaust systems according to the highest and severe qualitative standard. We guarantee the respect of the European laws related to homologation of exhaust systems, according to Regulation (UE) 134/2014 for Euro5 and Euro4 vehicles and according to Directive 2002/24/CE for Euro3 vehicles.

For products for road use, the entire homologation process is handled internally by the engineers of the technical department. Each muffler must scrupulously comply with the requirements of the increasingly stringent homologation standards and only after passing: phonometric tests, material ageing tests, performance tests on roller bench and pollutant emissions control (when necessary), the exhaust can be homologated and placed on the market. In order to do this SC-Project makes use of the Technical Service of TÜV Italia belonging to the TÜV SUD Auto Service GmbH group, which interfaces directly with the Ministry in charge of issuing the approval certificate in order to guarantee high standards of guarantee, quality and safety for the consumer.

The exhausts that have the regular certified Ministerial Homologation are legally usable on public roads, and throughout the territory of the European Union. Each exhaust system in homologated version has a special mark with the specific homologation code engraved on it, which for more clarity is also reported on the homologation certificate (usually supplied in paper format) specific for each motorcycle model.
